The Institute of Allied Health Sciences (IAHS) successfully conducted the Induction Programme for Batch 02 of the Nursing Assistant Programme (NVQ Level 4) on 18 June 2026.

We are delighted to welcome new students who have commenced their journey towards becoming competent and compassionate healthcare professionals. This programme is designed to prepare students with the knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required to meet the growing demands of the healthcare sector in Sri Lanka and abroad.

As the demand for qualified Nursing Assistants and Caregivers continues to increase, IAHS remains committed to developing a skilled healthcare workforce through industry-focused training and hands-on clinical experience. Our NVQ Level 3 and NVQ Level 4 Nursing Assistant and Caregiver programmes are aligned with national competency standards and equip students with the skills necessary for employment in hospitals, elder care facilities, community healthcare settings, and home-based care services.

The Institute of Allied Health Sciences continues to expand its educational offerings and learning facilities, including modern classrooms, clinical skills laboratories, simulation-based training environments, and clinical placements. These resources provide students with a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and build successful careers in healthcare.

We extend our warmest wishes to the students of Batch 02 and look forward to supporting them throughout their educational and professional development.
